Other Disruptor Adventurers
The kit, in short
Pepper fires heavy shots from range with a Heavy Bowgun. Some skills lift Pepper into the air to fire rapidly from above.
Summarised from the official description.
The Disruptor class
Disruptors control the fight. They hunt with a Rutaco Buddy, a tool-savvy native of Aesoland that uses the monster's traits and the terrain to create openings.
Every Adventurer also feeds the squad's shared energy for the Co-Op Skill, which only lands when the whole squad hits the same monster part within a short window.
Teams with Pepper
- Water with Ouyang Varen, Fated Adventurer (Water) and MadelynRanged damage on flying monsters from Pepper, with Madelyn healing.
- Ice with Rhodes, Fated Adventurer (Ice) and MadelynRhodes stuns, the last two slots flex to the monster’s weakness.

How to play Pepper
- Empty the magazine with Basic Attacks for 2 Concentration, then Bouncy Dash into the monster to reload and go airborne.
- From the air, fire two shots and finish with Aerial Blast. Bouncy Dash back in before the recoil carries you out of range.
- Use height to change your firing angle, not to hide. Being airborne is not invincibility: you can drift out of a healer’s range or be unable to dodge some projectiles.
- Hold the interrupting Ultimate for a dangerous attack sequence or a phase change.
Good matchups: Paolumu, Rathalos, Kushala Daora.
