The Assault class
Assault is the damage class. On hunts, Assault Adventurers fight alongside a Palico Buddy that adds bursts of damage.
Every Adventurer also feeds the squad's shared energy for the Co-Op Skill, which only lands when the whole squad hits the same monster part within a short window.

- Arrows pierce for multiple hits depending on monster size; max pierce hits 3/4/5/6 by charge level, with hits 3-6 doing 10%/30%/50%/70% less damage.
- Skill 1 Thunderous Spin
- Slide Shot: stamina-cost slide with a long-range shot that keeps charge, +1 charge level, +25 Thunder Coating energy. Thunderous Spin: precise tap during any attack for a quick directional shifting shot that keeps charge and gives +50 Thunder Coating energy.
- Skill 2 Arc Slash
- High-speed arcing slide (stamina) that keeps charge and reloads up to 75 Thunder Coating energy; tap again to end early with a strong arrow that always pierces 6 times and adds +1 charge level.

How to play Luka
- Before you start, hold Basic Attack to reach maximum charge. Charge level 4 boosts all his skills, and precise Thunderous Spin taps keep it.
- Loop Thunderous Spin and Arc Slash to build up to 4 Thunder Coatings. Arc Slash also keeps your charge and gives stamina back faster than resting.
- Do not mash buttons. It drops the charge level and costs a lot of damage.
- The Ultimate resets your bow charge but refills 2 coatings, so use it right after you have emptied them.
- Stay diagonal to the head and aim at heads, wings and tails. Arrows on armoured parts waste the coating bonus.
